Item Description
PLEASE NOTE - RING CONDITION IS AS DESCRIBED. WHAT YOU SEE IN OUR PHOTO (ESPECIALLY IF ENLARGED) IS NOT WHAT IS SEEN BY THE NAKED EYE. THE HIGH QUALITY OF THE PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE AMPLIFIES EVEN THE MOST MINOR IMPERFECTION. LOOKING AT THE ITEM IN PERSON AND UNDER NORMAL VIEWING CONDITIONS, LITTLE TO NONE OF THIS IS EVIDENT. WHEN WE GIVE A RING LIKE THIS A HIGH GRADE, THAT IS THE ACCURATE GRADE AND A MORE TRUE ACCOUNT OF THE ITEM AS SEEN IN THE CATALOG PHOTO.

10" tall 4 oz. size "Quaker Puffed Wheat Sparkies" cereal box from c. 1945. Back features premium "Wings Of Victory" warplane (Douglas C-54 "Skymaster") picture to cut out while side panel features "Terry And The Pirates" advertisement w/Terry portrait. Top of box has had all flaps removed, resulting in some unevenness. Box is evenly aged and VG overall. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA. Box comes w/pair of premium rings issued by Quaker in 1947. Both feature brass bases w/adjustable bands that have small images of dragons and brass band w/skull and crossbones that holds aluminum tubes on top that have plastic end caps. When held to light, the interior shows a couple lighter tone blurry shapes surrounded by black bkg. intended to represent gold ore, but visually of little detail as made. Both are high grade examples w/much luster. Exc. to NM. Classic premium rings.
