Item Description
See previous item. This is second boxed version by Wilane, issued in 1948 in totally different box; measuring 5x5x1" deep w/illustrated lid. Box contains 1.25x1-5/8" silver luster case w/original tooled leather bands. Box and insert both have image of Gene Autry inside "Champion" horseshoe. Box has corner tip wear and lt. even aging but remains tight. Fine/VF. Die-cut insert w/retailer instructions on back shows lt. wear and is VF. Comes w/instruction sheet. Autry image on dial w/"Gene Autry Watch - Always Your Pal - Gene Autry" text. Hands have glow-in-the-dark material, which still glows brightly. Crystal shows trace wear and watch case retains near full luster. Overwound, but still a high grade, Exc. example. Old store stock.
