Item Description
PLEASE NOTE - RING CONDITION IS AS DESCRIBED. WHAT YOU SEE IN OUR PHOTO (ESPECIALLY IF ENLARGED) IS NOT WHAT IS SEEN BY THE NAKED EYE. THE HIGH QUALITY OF THE PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE AMPLIFIES EVEN THE MOST MINOR IMPERFECTION. LOOKING AT THE ITEM IN PERSON AND UNDER NORMAL VIEWING CONDITIONS, LITTLE TO NONE OF THIS IS EVIDENT. WHEN WE GIVE A RING LIKE THIS A HIGH GRADE, THAT IS THE ACCURATE GRADE AND A MORE TRUE ACCOUNT OF THE ITEM AS SEEN IN THE CATALOG PHOTO.

Lot of three bright gold luster plastic rings w/symbolic arrow designs on each side plus "Straight Arrow" name on the lower edges below the rounded top area designed to represent a gold nugget. 1950. One side of nugget has viewing hole and when held to the light there is an image of a cave interior showing Straight Arrow w/a bw photo of the child who ordered the ring. Second ring features similar image, w/Straight Arrow along with his friend Packy and horse Fury. Third ring is a possible Robbins Co. prototype or promotional sample for Las Vegas' Golden Nugget casino as it features a photo image of the famed gambling establishment. This version does not has "Straight Arrow" text on band. Regardless, design features a great tie-in w/the Golden Nugget theme of the ring. This is the only example of this design we've seen in our 52 years. All are Exc. w/bright luster. Comes w/3-5/8x4.75" two-sided sheet of paper; one side featuring image of Straight Arrow noting what recipient will see inside ring. Back has order black for additional ring for Nabisco Shredded Wheat box top and 25¢. Folded at center as issued, but o/w unused and VF/Exc. w/just lt. wear/aging. Very rare and this is the only example we've seen in our 52 years, this rare paper is not listed in the "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake.
