Item Description
All items were issued 1945-1946 by the "Tennessee Jed" radio program's sponsor, Tip-Top Bread. "Tennessee Jed" featured the frontier adventures of Jed Sloan and debuted on ABC radio in 1945, airing until 1947. Lot includes - unused ink blotter, two cardstock promotional pieces (including one shaped like an ear), "Atom Gun" cardboard pop gun, cardboard ring toss game, envelopes containing "Tennessee Jed Tip-Top Tattoo Transfers" and "Tennessee Jed's Lariat," two promotional photo cards and two die-cut masks; one shaped like a jack-o-lantern pumpkin, the other a cowboy hat/mask. Sizes range from 2.25x5" to 15-1/8x10-1/8". Condition varies from VG to Exc w/most in the Fine range. Lot also includes CGC 7.5 VF- copy of "Tennessee Jed Magic Tricks" #NN promotional giveaway comic book, published in 1945. White pages. An instant collection and a rare opportunity to obtain this much material all at once, many of which are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
