Item Description
Pair of hand-painted studio publicity cels from the first year of "The Flintstones," issued in 1960. Each original matted cel has acetate sheet cover and textured paper backing. Barney Rubble image area measures 2.5x5" and of note, Barney is depicted w/solid blue eyes, which were later changed to solid black for the show. Barney has some hairlines to paint and is missing tiny spot on collar and on upper lip. Fine. Betty Rubble image area measures 2.75x6". Betty has a few hairlines to paint, but paint remains complete. VF. Original mats have pin holes at corners and show some scattered wear, and Betty mat has a.5" spot of moisture staining at top. While cels show some aging/wear, both are still great full figure images. Rare Flintstones publicity art.
