Item Description
Lot of five items, all related to the Howdy Doody 1950s Poll-Parrot Shoes promotion. Sizes range from 5x7.25" to 10x12". Rare "Poll Parrot's Howdy Doody News" 1950 newsletter has been folded into quarters w/some wear and even aging. Fine overall. Rare and the only example we've seen in our 52 years. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA. "The Poll Parrot Song" sheet music has some scattered staining and is o/w VF. Scarce. "Howdy Doody's Poll Parrot Coloring Book" is unused and is a high grade, Exc. example. "Poll Parrot's Howdy Doody Comic Book" No. 2 has pinch creases to spine and pages are evenly aged to lt. cream in color. Fine. "Howdy Doody's Poll-Parrot Jumble Joy Book" was printed in 1955 and features mix and match half-pages to form composite images of Howdy Doody characters. Pinch creases to spine but Fine/VF overall.
