13x21.25x1-5/8" deep box w/wonderfully illustrated lid contains complete Hasbro set, ©1956 Keeshan-Miller Enterprises Corp./CBS Television Enterprises. Box has some moderate edge wear/aging, w/some flaking to surface paper along edges of lid, largest area is a 1-5/8" strip at upper left. Both left corners of lid are split, one w/aged tape repair. Box bottom also has some edge wear. Box is Fine overall. One of two sets Hasbro produced, this is the larger variety, which includes "Captain Kangaroo's Eras-O-Board" w/die-cut insert that holds two unused boxes of crayons, plastic sharpener and "Wipe-Off Eraser" for use w/this set. Printed coloring example sheet at center (additional printed sheet contained w/small instruction sheet at center partition). Designed as a tracing/coloring set, die-cut insert holds six additional double-sided boards to color, including Captain Kangaroo portrait and comes w/rolled acetate sheet to trace on. Set is unused and NM, old store stock, w/just trace wear/aging to die-cut inserts. Scarce set and rare in this unused condition.
