Item Description
Illustrated 10.5x28.5x8" cardboard box contains complete parts for large and impressive mostly tin litho toy. Marx, 1950s. Box shows some scattered shelf wear and has area of grease penciling on inner flap. Box is Fine/VF. Toy is designed like a TV/radio station console, w/lithography depicting a variety of knobs, dials and gauges. Separate parts include microphone holder, two microphones, two antenna, which were put in place for catalog photo. Additional console features include - attached plug that could be inserted into various "Meter Plug-In" ports, flicker "Wave Length Screen," turning dials, "Signal Strength Indicator" needle and Morse code device. Battery box is clean and all wires for the battery-powered functions are intact, however we could not get unit to function. Still Exc. overall. Old store stock. Interesting 1950s design.
