Item Description
9.5x9.5" setup has hand-inked and painted acetate animation production cels w/overall image area of 5.5x7" featuring image of Pinocchio w/donkey ears from the waist up, surrounded by five seahorses as this is an underwater scene. Used in production of the 1940 Disney animated feature "Pinocchio." Cel comes w/original Courvoisier-provided painted bkg. Pinocchio image has scattered hairlines and some painting flaking to tip of one ear and at collar, but image o/w remains mostly complete. Margins of cels have been taped to board w/white tape. Fine overall, but would look nice framed.
