Item Description
16-7/8x20-3/8" frame contains ink and watercolors over pencil original art that has been professionally double-matted to 9.5x13.25". Art bears hand-lettered "Last Day Of School" title at bottom. Single panel cartoon features Billy walking beside his dog Sam, tossing his school supplies into the air upon leaving school, his thought balloon crowded w/all the Summer activities he has in mind, including baseball, fishing, swimming and watching TV. Art was created by "The Family Circus" creator Bil Keane (1922-2011) and bears handwritten inscription at lower left reading "For Our Young Life Friends With Love From The Family Circus And Bil Keane 2-22-97." Lower right has strip of tape staining, not affecting art, which still display Exc. as professionally framed. Ready for display.
