Item Description
Pair of high quality adult-size rings produced by The Stabur Corp. ©1993 Archie Comic Publications, Inc. Both feature same design, w/raised portrait of Archie Andrews on top, w/Riverdale "R" on one side of band and one of Pop's famous shakes on the other. Gold ring contains .48 oz. of 10K gold. Comes w/folded COA noting that only 25 gold rings were produced, this being low number 3. Sterling silver ring was initially to be an edition of 495 but after the buy-out by Whiz Bang, production ended up being just 50. Comes w/Whiz Bang certificate, which notes low number 4 in the extremely limited production run. Both are Mint as made.
UPDATE TO THE DESCRIPTION. While 25 gold were planned only 5 were actually produced. This is documented in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake. This is the actual example shown in that book and comes with a COA.
