Item Description
Great 8x10" glossy news service photo of Chicago's North Center Theatre Mickey Mouse Movie Club officers and winners of Mickey and Minnie Mouse costumes. Officers are wearing buttons (just like the those offered in previous two items) and are flanked by large wooden cut-outs of Mickey and Minnie. Names and offices held are on typed sheet attached to reverse along w/May 10, 1932 date and "Photo Library Of Chicago Daily News" stamped text along w/other dates and notations as reprinted. An interesting note on typed sheet is "Mickey Mouse Clubs Sponsored By Sears Roebuck & Company." Photo has some editorial re-touching, most notably to large Mickey Mouse image. Upper right corner is missing 1.5x2.75" corner piece and photo shows scattered handling wear. Lower right corner tip off. Good/VG. First we've seen of any image like this showing members w/officer buttons in our 52 years.
