Item Description
9.25x12.25" w/24 pages. Vol. 9, #8 issue for June 23, 1932. Front cover has poster ad for "Avalanche." Highlight of the issue is centerfold promoting "Mickey Mouse And Silly Symphonies" exploitation campaign related to Disney's new distributor, United Artists. Includes classic image of Mickey waving w/text promoting 48 page campaign book (see following item). Issue has related "Mickey Mouse Exploitation" text article noting 15,000 copies of 48-page manual (campaign book) had been mailed and extensive list of manufacturers tie-ins. Bottom center of front cover has 1/8" hole w/1x1.25" faint circle stain around it. Still VF overall w/Exc. contents. Extremely limited distribution, just sent to regional New England theater owners and those in the trade.
