Item Description
4.75x10.75" promotional mailer that opens to 10.75x13.75" and reveals newspaper puzzle contest to win prizes, theater tickets, etc. Mailer was issued to theaters in the 1930s, this example being hand-addressed to "Fox Theatre" of Napa, CA. Mailer features image of "Money-Making Mickey Mouse" beside theater recipient name and features additional Mickey images within as well as detailed text about the "United Artists Exchange" newspaper contest, showing newspaper pages w/Mickey images. Example of the puzzle itself (featuring classic hands-on-hips image of Mickey) is pictured on back. Lower third of back has paper remnants from missing sheet that was once attached. Removal of this sheet has also resulted in some surface paper lifts to bottom Mickey image. Folded as mailed, paper seal has been broken as intended. Fine overall.
