Item Description
Lot of eight metal Brownies items, all 1890s. 2.5x3.5" metal candy tray features relief image of Brownie w/gun as Policeman Brownie comes to the rescue. 1.75x3-3/8x.75" deep metal trinket box w/hinged lid depicts five Brownies (including Uncle Sam and The Dude) and was sold at World's Fair. Both tray and box have nice patina and show just lt. wear. VF. Pair of 3.5" long silver spoons w/enameled Dude and Scotsman Brownie on handles. Both are marked "Sterling" and Scotsman has engraved "Westport" on spoon. Both have aged patina and Scotsman has tiny spot of paint off leg. Both are Fine. Three approx. 2.5" stickpins w/different styles, one featuring The Dude. Dude has no paint while other show varying degrees of paint wear. Fine overall. 1-1/8" long double-sided figural metal charm w/belt buckle having small "US" letters. Exc. Five in lot are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
