Item Description
Pair of cello buttons measuring 5/8" to .75" dia. Both date to c. 1918 and features Jiggs portrait. Smaller is from a game w/o text while larger has "The State Journal" newspaper imprint and Bastion Bros. backpaper. Both are lightly aged but o/w glossy and Exc. 4x4.75x1.25" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid label contains trio of 4" tall bisques distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt Corp. Made in Japan, ©1934 KFS. Box shows some scattered wear w/slight inward warp to lid, which has tape repair to side panel. Box is complete w/cardboard inserts and VG/Fine. Bisques include Maggie, Jiggs and Nora. All have incised KFS copyright on backs. Scattered dust soiling/aging but VF overall. Matched 2.5" tall glazed ceramic figural salt and pepper set depict Maggie and Jiggs, who has gold luster to top hat (which shows heavy wear). Both stamped "Made In Japan" on undersides, 1930s. Jiggs has small cork and is Fine overall. Maggie does not and is o/w Exc.
