Item Description
3.75x6.75x7/8" cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 1x1.5" silver luster metal case w/full color dial featuring "Joe Palooka" image. New Haven, ©1947 Ham Fisher. Lid shows just lt. aging/wear and is VF/Exc. Matching illustrated insert has tiny tear by die-cut slot and is o/w VF. Dial has all over pinpoint spots of wear due to aging but image remains strong. Case retains full luster. Watch winds and ticks for a few seconds but needs a simple cleaning to keep time. Comes w/original leather band. Dial is Fine while rest of watch is Exc. Rare as boxed, especially in this choice condition. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
