Item Description
11x21" cardboard sign promotes "Donald Duck Bread," featuring a portrait of Donald at left w/sign dominated by image of loaf of bread in bread wrapper featuring Donald and his Nephews, w/bread label on one end. 1950s. Sign has some handling wear w/corner creases and some scattered faint spots of moisture staining. Fine overall. Comes w/four different display loaves, each featuring different waxed bread wrapper w/illustrations of Donald Duck and his Nephews. Wrappers include - same "Donald Duck" design w/square and dome-shaped loaves; "Wheat Blend Bread" and "McGavin's Donald Duck Vitamin Enriched White Bread." Three have been formed over foam blocks, one over cardboard. Dome-shaped one also has Donald Duck bread labels on ends. Display loaves show varying degrees of aging/handling wear and are Fine to VF overall. These would make an interesting display along w/sign. See following lot w/standee and premium puppet.
