Item Description
5-7/8" tall unproduced prototype for Coca-Cola drinking glasses obtained at Burger King restaurants, ©1977 Twentieth Century-Fox Film. This prototype features double-printed image, which results in separate, different image visible on interior. Production glasses were not produced in this manner, instead featuring only single exterior image. Production glasses had Coca-Cola logo as well as Burger King logo whereas these prototypes (see following two items) only feature Coca-Cola logo. Glass design also differed from production glasses, featuring taller base section. This example features black/gray exterior image of large Death Star w/"Star Wars" logo within it, w/two X-Wing fighters. Interior image is lt. blue/white and depicts Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. This design was later changed to primarily feature Luke w/much smaller Death Star image (see production example photo, production glass not included). Prototype has some lt. aging to Death Star image and is o/w Exc.
