Item Description
Pair of large 30x40" art board sheets w/attached film sheets, each 24x33". For the 1968 issue that is comprised of 55 cards. ACC# 789-9. Card fronts feature bw photos of Bobby Kennedy throughout his life & career, text backs w/repeated image of the Capitol dome. Images include him w/his brother John, LBJ and MLK Jr. One film sheet has the actual glossy photos used to make the cards. These 55 photos have all been individually glued to the film sheet and some have airbrush touch ups. The other film sheet has the cards backs which are stats that have paste-up text for the set title at top and block of text at center describing photo for that card. Images for cards #17 & 41 are missing the title strip and card #53 is missing the text block. All else is present. Both boards have ink stamp and hand written information at one corner including "Job No." These camera ready sheets represent the art used to make the final films that in turn produced the cards.
