Item Description
14-1/8x24" first printing poster for May 5-6, 1967 concerts that took place at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA featuring The Grateful Dead, Paupers and Collage. Poster was printed using a split-fountain technique, w/the ink transitioning from green at top to pink at bottom. Poster features design by Wes Wilson that includes nude woman holding male/female yin and yang symbol w/man's face behind her and large pair of faces at lower right. Bottom features snake design w/swastika on its forehead and "$" symbol in its mouth. Poster has slight fade as framed w/slightly darker/aged margins. Scattered faint moisture at top left corner. Top/bottom center margins have strip of staining from tape on reverse. Tape at left/right center margins does not affect front's display. VG/Fine overall.
