Item Description
Pair of first and only printing posters. BG-81 measures 14x20-3/8" and is for Sept. 15, 1967 concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA featuring Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead and Big Brother and the Holding Company. Design by Jim Blashfield features Herb Greene's photo of Jefferson Airplane set inside house seated on person's head. Bottom margin has moderate moisture rippling and top margin has 9-5/8" crease and corresponding strip (1/8" wide) of surface paper missing. Two pieces of paper tape on back at top corners. VG overall. BG-154 measures 14x21.5" and is for Jan. 2-4, 1969 concerts that featured Blood Sweat & Tears and Spirit. Poster design by Randy Tuten (his first Bill Graham poster) features composite images of photo of The Queen Mary passenger ship, drawing of bus stop as viewed through open door. Scattered margin and corner tip wear w/some faint edge creases. Two pieces of paper tape on back at top corners. Fine overall.
