5-5/8x9x2.25" deep illustrated cardboard box w/die-cut display lid contains complete set by Ohio Art, 1930s. Box is original and complete w/insert. In addition to Mickey and Minnie Mouse, box features Pluto, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow images. Box has even moderate aging, lid has been punched and shows moderate wear w/creases and tape repairs (on underside of lid) to three tears. Front bottom left corner is missing 1" section. Box is VG overall. 5.25" in dia. tin litho washtub w/images of Mickey and Minnie doing laundry. Tub and generic painted tin washboard are unused and shows just lt. aging and are very glossy. Some artifacting to paint along inner rim of washtub, but this appears to be as factory made. Both are o/w Exc. Other generic pieces include the rarely found clothesline unit (w/string clothesline) w/wooden pole/painted tin base/wire pole and all 12 wood clothespins (typically missing). These pieces are Exc. This is the only fully complete example of this set we've offered in our 53 years.
