19-7/8x24" stretched canvas w/acrylic original art by Uldis Klavins for window box packaging for Remco's 9" line of Universal Monsters action figures released in 1981. Art is from front of box, featuring Lon Chaney Sr. as "The Phantom Of The Opera." Paperback and Mego/Marx packaging artist Klavins has signed at lower right. Art remains bright, clean and glossy w/deep color. Exc. 1970s and 1980s action figure and related packaging original art is highly sought after and rarely comes up for sale. Unique original art for monster fans and action figure collectors alike. Art was originally obtained by our consignor directly from sources at Remco and none have ever been offered before at auction.
