Item Description
2-3/8x4.5x1" deep hinged lid Ingersoll box w/repeat Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow images on the outside and additional image of Mickey on lid interior. Same design as the US box but w/added "Reproduced With The Consent Of Walter E. Disney - This Box Printed And Made In England" text. Box is complete w/plain orange cardboard box insert. Box lid's fragile paper hinge remains intact and box shows corner tip/edge wear. Box bottom has 3/8" tear to side. Box is Fine overall. 2" dia. silvered brass case pocket watch is the second version, produced c. 1934. Watch has celluloid dial featuring a much more traditional-looking Mickey Mouse image than earlier version. Also has second wheel w/three small Mickey images. Watch has moderate luster wear to bezel and back has spot of luster loss at center. Case is Fine. Dial remains bright and clean and one hand has small spot of paint on pointed finger. Dial is o/w VF. Working. Comes w/1-1/8" fob w/fixed loop at top. Reverse has "Ingersoll - Mickey Mouse - Watches - Clocks - Copyright Walt Disney" text. Most silver luster is worn down to brass but much red/black enamel paint remains. VG overall. Rare as boxed and complete w/fob, this is one of a few complete sets we've offered in our 53 years.
