Item Description
2-5/8x5x1.5" deep box complete w/die-cut insert contains watch that was issued by Ingersoll in the fall of 1937. Box lid features great image of Mickey Mouse in top hat and cane and wearing a wristwatch, slightly different version of this image appears on underside of lid. Paper-covered insert notes original issue price of $3.95. Surface paper has some creases and has separated from cardboard underneath in a few spots. Box corners show some wear and lid is evenly aged w/just a spot of discoloration at upper right. Box is Fine overall. 1x1.25" chrome luster case watch features dial image of Mickey with animated hands an small second hand disc between his legs features single image of Mickey that revolves as seconds tick. Case retains near full bright luster and displays Exc. Original leather band shows aging as stored over the years but o/w watch appears unused. Watch winds but is not running and just needs a simple cleaning. Dial is Exc. Rare.
