Item Description
2.5" tall thick die-cut cardboard figure of Donald Duck and tin litho night light column/battery holder are attached to 3.75" dia. painted tin base. From a series of three that also included Mickey Mouse and Dopey (see item #1385),  w/Donald the scarcest of the three. ©1938 WDE. Donald image is repeated on each side of cardboard. Night light column features same wrap-around design w/Mickey Mouse and Donald looking out of a window at Pluto, who barks at the moon. The graphic depicts the characters holding the very night lights offered here. Mickey appears to have the Donald light while Donald clearly holds the Dopey light. Aside from some lt. oxidation to battery spring, battery holder is clean and complete w/removable top cap and has bulb, which lights. Donald figure shows very lt. wear on one side w/more noticeable wear to Donald's bill on the other side. Tin base and top cap have scattered small traces of wear, tin column has some pinpoint scattered paint nicks but remains glossy. Fine.
