Item Description
Pair of glazed ceramic lamps w/over-the-glaze painted accents. Leeds China Company, c. late 1940s. Figural lamp has 6" dia. base and is 12" tall to the top of the socket. Donald Duck stands next to lamp base designed as a large anchor w/rope wrapped around it and rope design around bottom edge of base. Underside has felt covering. Lamp has trace wear to the over-the-glaze paint and a few small scattered spots (mainly to central lamp column) but remains totally bright and glossy. Fine/VF. Wall lamp has total height of 9" (counting metal arm w/socket at end). Lamp has high relief design of Donald at center of life preserver. Lamp has typical lt. crazing, few craze lines have slight trace of aging. Appearance remains totally bright and glossy w/nearly 100% paint intact. VF. Both are complete w/original cords/plugs and work.
