Item Description
10x15x2" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains complete 13-piece tin litho set No. 338A ("Pink"), the medium sized of three produced by Ohio Art, ©1937 WDE. Box lid features nice art of Snow White serving Dwarfs tea along w/repeated images of rabbits and owls. Box has moderate even aging, corner tip wear and creases along left/right sides of lid. Tape repair to 2.5" corner tear w/partial corner split. Box is complete w/original die-cut insert which has two .5" tears at one cup slot. Fine overall. Box contains three place settings including three tea cups, three saucers, three plates as well as tea pot w/lid, creamer and open sugar, plus a 5.5x7.5" serving tray. All pieces feature different images of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs including them playing instruments, drying dishes, etc. Some scattered lt. wear/aging as boxed w/some lt. edge wear to a few pieces (tray) but set remains bright and glossy. Fine/VF to Exc. overall. Rare as boxed.
