Item Description
Lamp has painted tin body w/5" dia. by 4" tall (6.5" tall to top of socket). Soreng-Manegold, 1935. This is green body version (also came in beige, see previous item). Three identical Mickey Mouse decals appear around outside surface and all are 100% complete. Base shows trace aging/wear w/some minor nicks/scratches but remains totally bright and glossy. Has original silk covered electric cord and plug, works. Lamp itself remains VF for display. Comes w/5" tall glossy thin cardboard shade from a numbered series of six different. This is "2" featuring Clarabell teaching school with Mickey and Minnie seated at desks. Pluto dejectedly sits on porch by closed school room door. Shade has all-over lt. to moderate creasing. Wire frame/bulb holder became detached from shade at some point but is now re-glued in place. A bit of glue appears around top red binding not greatly distracting and overall  shade remains structurally sound. VG. All of these shades are significantly more rare than the lamp itself.
