Item Description
Lamp has painted tin body w/5" dia. and is 4" tall (6.5" tall to top of socket). This is color variety w/beige body (also came in green, see following item). Soreng-Mangold, 1935. Sides of lamp body have three identical full body Mickey Mouse decals, which are 100% complete. Base remains glossy and lamp has original silk-wrapped cord and plug. Working and Exc. Glossy thin cardboard shade is 5.25" tall and from a series of six different numbered shades. This is No. 4, featuring three images of Mickey, showing him standing in the rain w/lantern, under lamppost in top hat and tails and in armchair reading "Peculiar Penguins."Outside surface shows typical even aging w/some scattered creases but shade remains free of any tears/punctures. VF overall. These shades are much rarer than the lamps themselves, this among the nicest examples we've seen in our 53 years.
