Lot of three felt dolls, standing 4.5" to 13.25" tall. Made in Spain, 1950s. Lot consists of large Tom doll and two Jerry dolls, each w/different pose and face. Tom doll is unmarked, both Jerry dolls have "Bub - Made In Spain - Barcelona" foil tags stitched to one ear. Standing Jerry doll shows scattered wear to label w/foil flaked off top. Jerry doll playing wooden guitar shows obvious wear to tag. Each doll has painted starched linen face on felt head that is mounted in body on thick wire rod, allowing head to be moved. Tom appears to have once held instrument but this is now missing, w/just strings left in hands. Doll has moderate even aging and rubber whiskers have broken off. Aside from this, painted face remains clean and shows little wear. VG. Both Jerry dolls are also missing rubber whiskers and show just lt. wear to painted faces. Standing Jerry also appears to have once held instrument which is now missing. VG. Doll w/guitar is VG/Fine overall. Rare and first we've offered in our 53 years.
