Item Description
Pair by Ohio Art. Each sweeper is 5x7.5x2" deep tin litho w/wood side panels and wheels, attached metal brackets hold approx. 24" long original wood handles. First is c. late 1930s and features image of Minnie Mouse holding broom while Donald Duck holding dustpan w/the wind blowing dust back into his face. Tin litho has evenly faded and has shallow indent to Donald's legs and above his head. Missing bristles on underside. VG overall. Second is ©1940 and features image of Donald wearing a handkerchief and using sweeper as he knocks over flower pot, while Minnie talks on phone in bkg., a feather duster in hand. Scattered paint nicks/scratches as well as a tiny indent to edge. Fine. Both are scarce.
