Item Description
8x13.25x.75" deep box holds parts for Dixon set No. 2670 from the mid-1930s. Lid features Mickey Mouse flying airplane while Minnie Mouse, Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar and Pluto watch from the ground. Box has hinged lid and opens to reveal illustrated cardboard insert tray that holds unused Dixon "Mickey Mouse" pencil which features tiny images of Mickey. These and text have some scattered staining. Tray also holds Dixon eraser w/Mickey name/image that appear unused. Set also comes w/four tiny colored pencils that show some wear from use. Set also includes nine single-sided coloring sheets, each approx. 7x8.25". Of these, only "Mickey Mouse" model sheet has been neatly colored. Sheets are evenly aged and one has tiny margin flake, o/w Fine overall. Inside of lid has two stencil sheets; one for Mickey while other is Minnie. Minnie has .75x1" sticker stain but o/w stencils appear unused w/all parts meant to be punched out still in place. Box has some scattered lt. corner tip/edge wear but remains bright, glossy and tight. Fine/VF.
