Vol. 29 #3 (March 1937) cover by Margaret Brundage shows bound woman in revealing gown recoiling in terror as knife-wielding shadow advances towards her. Nude corpse seen in bkg. w/strategically placed floral arrangement. "The Blood Of Bubastis" story by Robert Bloch. "The Picture In The House" reprint story by H.P. Lovecraft. Complete and unfaded cover and spine, which has a few stresslines. Scattered lt. handling wear w/moderate edge wear along bottom. Cream pages remain supple. VG. Vol. 31 #4 (April 1938) cover by Virgil Finlay features wizard looking over sleeping beauty in "The Garden Of Adompha" cover story. "The Eyes Of The Mummy" story by Robert Bloch. "To Clark Ashton Smith" poem by H.P. Lovecraft (who had died a month prior). Complete and unfaded cover (mis-cut corner on back cover) and spine, w/some lt. scattered wear. Cream-colored pages remain supple. VG/Fine. Vol. 32 #3 (Sept. 1938) cover by Margaret Brundage shows woman kneeling before executioner w/noose in bkg. as Puritan reads her charge. "A Thunder Of Trumpets" story by Robert E. Howard and Frank T. Torbett. "The Mandarin's Canaries" story by Robert Bloch. "The Wood" poem by H.P. Lovecraft.
