Item Description
1.25" and this is a concave metal back variety rather than open back with Western Badge back paper. The curl does name Western Badge, St. Paul as the maker. George Wagner established this company in St. Paul as an offshoot of the former Wagner Bicycle Company. 8,500 motorcycles were produced and it was one of the first to position the engine low down at a time when most companies were using the design of high engines such as those on Indian motorcycles. We estimate the date for this button as c. 1901-1904. Some barely noticeable gray marks on the outer rim. Full gloss. VF and Rare.
