Item Description
7/8" to 4" ribbon. Ribbon for "Mac Arthur Day In Chicago/Reception Committee". Gold letters lost luster but intact with safety pin on back, c. 1948. Second is cello on stickpin for "1942 Dedication MacArthur's Square Chicopee, Mass." Light oxidation on the pin. Also from 1942 is "MacArthur Field Day June 7, Central Park". Fine vertical hairlines on cello as made. From six days later is cardboard string tag for "MacArthur Day/USO/UWC/June 13, 1942.". Bottom row has our first seen 1.5" "Our Soldier Will Never Die". Some pinpoint rim stain. Next is metal frame pin with real photo which has light crease and a few emulsion dots off. Another 1st seen. Last is rare key fob with cello covers and back for name/address (unused). Exc. to Mint except as noted. Outstanding group. John Pendergrass Collection.
