Item Description
Original 9.5x14.75x1.75" deep cardboard box contains complete set of 16 plastic-laminated cardboard 33-1/3 rpm records, each 6.75x6.75" w/color photo and facsimile signature on front. ©1962 Sports Champions Inc. but released in 1964. Factory box is complete w/cardboard inserts and foam piece as issued. Exc. Cards were designed to be played on standard turntable and feature five-minute interview by sportscaster Marty Glickman w/each respective player. Records include - Mantle, Maris, Mays, Koufax, Drysdale, Colavito, Kaline, Boyer, Robinson, Ward, Allison, Banks, Mazeroski, Gentile, Ford and Spahn. Upper right corner has illustration of gold cup with text "Sports Record." Back of each card has bw photo of player as well as biography and stats. All center holes remain unpunched w/exception of Willie Mays, which is EX. while rest are NM to Mint. Complete w/cassette tape.
