12.5x16.25" litho. Daniel Webster, clutching the "Constitution" is ridden by a slave driver in pursuit of a woman defended by Abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison at the forefront of a ruckus showdown in front of the "Temple Of Liberty." Faint foxing along lower third, otherwise clean. VF. Referencing Webster's pledge to actively enforce the Fugitive Slave Law as part of the Compromise of 1850.
