Item Description
5x8" sheet of stiff unlined paper features blue felt tip pen original art depicting expressive, full body image of Little Lulu by writer/artist John Stanley (1914-1993), best known for writing the "Little Lulu" comic book stories from 1945 to 1959. While mostly known for scripting, Stanley also drew many of his stories, including the earliest issues of "Little Lulu" and the "Tubby" spin-off series. Art has been inscribed "To Christine & Wendy" and has been signed by the artist, the last letter of his last name running off edge of sheet. Exc. Charlie Roberts Collection.
