Item Description
8.5x11" sheet has full body specialty pen and ink original art by Alan Jim Hanley, a comic book artist active in the 1960s and 1970s, who is also known for his 1970s fanzine work. Hanley died in 1980 after a car accident. Art is dated May 1970 and features the Fawcett/DC Comics Captain Marvel (also known as Shazam!) standing beside Marvel's own Captain Marvel, aka Mar-Vell, w/the original Captain Marvel saying "Folks, Meet Another One Of My Cousins!!!" a reference to the Marvel Family. Sheet is evenly aged and has some faint creases at corners but still VF overall and a wonderfully unique specialty piece featuring not one, but two Captain Marvels. Charlie Roberts Collection.
