11" square. Glazed cotton. Threads Of History plate #38 on page 63. Attributed to Germantown Print Works. Standing portrait of Washington w/quote from his farewell address including "... The Faults Of Incompetent Abilities Will Be Consigned To Oblivion." Below are an American eagle and British lion w/sailing ships below "Commercial Union" at center. A small brown stain in right field affecting text, moderate faint damp staining and handling wear. Fine. Professionally framed and matted making for a charming display.
