19.25x20.25. Silk. 1888. Threads Of History as plate 638 on p.273. Text "A. S. Rosenthal & Co. N. Y." at bottom right and "Patented June 28, 1888" at bottom left. Slogans in banners include "Protection Vs. Free Trade", "Aid For Schools" and Pensions For Soldiers." At center is a 38 star American flag w/"For President Benjamin Harrison For Vice President Levi P. Morton." Vertical and horizontal well flattened folds, scattered light brown spots of toning throughout that blend evenly and moderate handling wear. VF. This yellow variety is rarely offered. A striking display textile that will look beautiful when framed.
