Item Description
6.75x8.25" typed letter dated "December 1, 1915." Wilson writes to "My Dear Doctor Roberts" stating in part "...It Would Not Be Wise For Me To Accept The Position Of A Delegate To The Meeting Of The Executive Committee Of The Federal Council Of The Churches Of Christ In America." Signed at conclusion in black fountain pen ink "Woodrow Wilson." Horizontal mailing fold, toning at edges and moderate fading of signature but still remaining pronounced and legible. Fine. Comes w/Hake's COA & JSA LOA.
