Item Description
Lot of four items signed by Hollywood legend James Stewart (1908-1997). 8x10-7/8" softcover "The It's A Wonderful Life Book" w/370 was written by Jeanine Basinger and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Frank Capra's 1946 Christmas classic. Book was published by Alfred A. Knopf in 1986. Front cover has been boldly signed in blue felt tip pen by Stewart. Book has corner tip wear to upper right corner on front of book but is o/w Exc. Lot also includes three matte finish 8x10" photos showing Stewart later in life. All have been signed in silver paint pen; photo showing Stewart w/Western film legend Gene Autry has also been signed in black felt tip pen by Autry. This photo has a small spot of discoloration to Stewart's sideburn and some handling wear. VF. Others are Exc. Comes w/10-page press release w/biographical information on Stewart. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COAs. Charlie Roberts Collection.
