Item Description
17.75x22" hand colored paper poster that has been linen mounted. Titled "Published By The Republican National Committee Campaign Of 1884 Blaine's Idea" w/candidate's portrait on US map. Regions are labeled including: former Confederate states "Capitol Not Controversy"; "Utah" w/ "Death To Polygamy"; "Central America" w/ "Hands Off! Monroe Doctrine" and illustration of "Canal." Three vertical and one horizontal folds. Two tiny holes along left vertical fold line one affecting Arizona on the map. Age toning alone left edge and moderate handling wear. VG. Rarely offered, highly graphic and full of great content.
