Item Description
13" dia. die-cut cardboard wheel; front/back panels joined by center grommet. Front panel has an extended cardboard grip tab at bottom w/triangular die-cut opening at top center. A "Plane Detector" grip extends from an inner cardboard disc wheel that turns to reveal color picture of plane in flight and silhouette corresponding to one of 16 described aircraft listed along edges, comprised of US Army fighters, bombers, transports and trainers. Back is non-mechanical, picturing 20 US Air Corps squadron insignias w/each identified below. ©1942 Plane Facts Inc. Grip tab and grip show wear w/inked name and has some creases. Fine overall but main wheel still displays nicely.
