Item Description
14.25x19-7/8" first printing poster (printed in gold ink) for July 22-23, 1966 concerts that took place at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA featuring Great Society and Jefferson Airplane. Poster features art by Alton Kelley, Frank Stuck and Stanley Mouse showing image of nude woman w/large snake coiled around her. Pin holes at corners w/two .5" areas of faint tape staining at upper/lower left margins and has been linen-mounted. Aside from mounting, poster has had no restoration. Displays VF. Rare as a first printing.
