Item Description
10.75x16" artboard has pencil original art by Mike Sekowsky that has been inked by George Roussos. Art is for page 5 of "The Atom" Vol. 1 #38, published by DC Comics Sept. 1968. Page features four panels, showing The Atom riding his short-lived sidekick Major Mynah (a mechanically enhanced Mynah bird) into battle against the invading Physalians. Last panels features Atom and Major Mynah being attacked by tentacles. Atom appears in every panel. Top margin has handwritten title and issue/page numbers w/minor editorial notation. Back has Comics Code Authority inkstamp and some pencil sketching of cartoonish woman. Top/bottom corners have hole punches and lower right has .5" corner tip off. Two pieces of paper tape at top margin on back. Artboard is Fine overall but art remains clean and displays VF/Exc.
