Item Description
4-3/8.5x7" folder is complete w/"Captain's Commission" certificate; original owner has neatly filled out in pencil. Interior has Orphan Annie "Welcome Captain" message and shows premium "Captain '42" glow-in-the-dark badge. Folder also shows "Special Wig-Wags" non-verbal code and back has "Secret Master Code Key" and "1942 Captain's Password." Folder has been folded as mailed and has some areas w/aging. Fine overall. Rare and one of the few complete examples we've offered in our 53 years. Comes w/2.25" tall glow-in-the-dark badge given to those achieving the rank of "Captain" (see previous item for application to obtain this rank). Badge features spread wings w/Secret Guard "SG" initials above "Captain '42" rank. Still glows. Scarce.
